The Number 9 Reason That We're Looking Forward to Our October ReMe Retreat on Ocracoke Island...

Big Beautiful Beaches!

If you’ve ever stood on the beach in Ocracoke, you know exactly what we mean.  If you haven’t, you owe it to yourself to get there as fast as you can!

There are more than twelve miles of undeveloped beach that are maintained by The National Park Service.  Wildlife and fabulous shells are everywhere, and we’ve made some of our best memories with the sand between our toes and the wind in our hair.

Please tell us...

If you've ever had the privilege of walking the beach on Ocracoke Island, what was your favorite find?

If you haven't had the privilege of walking the beach on Ocracoke Island yet, what are you most looking forward to finding?

  7. I have never been. I'm a Pacific coast gal where you don't find shells. Wouldn't a collection of shells be awesome?

  10. I have never been to Oracoke, but the one thing I can usually count on finding while on a beach is blissful peace in my soul. And that is what I want to find on Oracoke.

  12. I found so many gifts from the sea and the bay...I had never had that string of luck in my life before! However, the most important thing o found on Ocracoke was myself. Spending a magical time with my art sisters and the tranquility of the water helped me awaken a sleeping side of my personality. ReMe will always be my touchstone, my center.

  13. I found a jelly fish and have the memory of Laurie telling me to pee on myself when I admitted that I may have touched it.

    Too funny
